IMPORTANT: The original KV Oostende (founded 1904, stamnummer 31) was declared bankrupt on 4 June 2024 by the Commercial Court of Bruges. A successor club KV Diksmuide-Oostende (KVDO) was formed as a merger of KSV Diksmuide with the Ostend city entity, retaining stamnummer 1972. KVDO currently competes in Belgian Division 2 (tier 4), NOT the Challenger Pro League. The original Challenger Pro League entry for KV Oostende refers to a club that no longer exists at that level.
